Open Sky receives Governor's Arts Award at State House Ceremony

On October 8th, members of the Open Sky Board, along with representatives from JSI Research and Open Sky nominator Ernesto Burden joined Governor Kelly Ayotte at the NH State House for a ceremony celebrating the 2025 Governor's Arts Award recipients, including Open Sky founder Derek Lucci who was honored with the Arts in Health Award.

Every two years, the NH State Arts Council, in cooperation with the Governor’s Office, acknowledges the contribution that arts and artists make to New Hampshire's cultural life through the presentation of the Governor’s Arts Awards.

While Open Sky founder Derek Lucci was unable to attend the award ceremony, Open Sky was well represented at the State House ceremony with Board Member Dr. Cynthia Whitaker accepting the award on behalf of Open Sky.
