With the Brookings/AEI Report (released April 2021) we found that what we had started with almost two years prior - as a local idea aimed at the improvement of mental health and human understanding in one state prison - had pushed itself forward to show its merit as a Humanities-driven Corrections reform initiative.

Based on the work of the past 2 years, we have developed a plan for the coming 2-years including:

• Continued growth of program(s) already operating in the State of New Hampshire Prison System
• Expanding Open Sky programming to prisons throughout the State of New Hampshire
• Partnering with independent researchers and consultants to gather the data we need to develop clear, quantifiable outcomes that can be tracked through a resident's period of incarceration, through transition to their home community, and beyond
• Create a transferable model for national and international distribution
• Develop and train exceptional arts professionals to serve as teacher/facilitators
